Performing a Hardware Reset on a Chromebook
Last Updated 4 years ago

If your Chromebook is not charging, has keys not working, is not displaying anything (blank screen), or any other similar issues, you can attempt a hardware reset to fix it quickly and on your own!

Simply press and hold both the Power and Refresh (circular arrow on the top row) buttons on the keyboard for about five seconds, release them, and then press the Power button once more. Within thirty seconds, the Chromebook should restart and be ready for use.
